I’m embarrassed by how simple this is, but it’s one I love to make when pears are in season. 
Serves 2
Ingredients
1 teaspoon balsamic vinegar
3 teaspoons olive oil
salt & pepper
4 cups mixed greens
1 Bosc pear, diced into 1-inch pieces
1/4 cup walnut halves, toasted
1/4 cup blue cheese, crumbled
Instructions
Whisk together vinegar, olive oil, salt and pepper. Pour over mixed greens and toss lightly. It’s really best to use your hands to toss. Top with pear, walnuts, and blue cheese. Serve.
