Grilled Asparagus

Serves 4Steakhouse dinner

1 pound asparagus
1 Tablespoon olive oil
Salt and pepper

Trim asparagus—just snap the bottom part off where it breaks naturally. Toss the asparagus with olive oil and salt and pepper. Put on grill over medium heat for 10 minutes, turning once or twice. If you’re cooking this with steaks or something else that’s on high heat, put on the top rack when you turn the steaks. Then turn when you remove the steaks, and remove after a few minutes while the steaks are resting. Or you can roast asparagus in the oven at 375 for 20 minutes, turning once or twice.
