Dan is famous for his Bloody Marys, and has agreed to give me the recipe to share here. He says that with all of the ingredients involved in this recipe, there is no need to use fancy vodka. If you want to get fancy, consider garnishing with some combination of bacon, shrimp, olives, lemon, lime, celery, pickled string bean…Dan has been known to use all of the above. It’s like your brunch and drink all in one!

Makes 4 highball-sized drinks

Ingredients

1 cup vodka
3 cups tomato juice
1/2 cup Worcestershire sauce
1 Tablespoon horseradish
1 teaspoon Old Bay
1 teaspoon Tabasco
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon celery salt
2 Tablespoons lime juice

Instructions

Combine all ingredients. Serve over ice in a glass with an Old Bay rim and garnish.
